With this mission in mind, we have proudly adopted the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) program.

The Cambridge AICE curriculum is renowned for its rigorous standards, international benchmarking, and comprehensive approach to learning, offering students a broad and balanced academic experience. Benefits of Cambridge AICE Diploma

The Cambridge advanced level courses are equivalent to Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB).

Cambridge International is recognized for its rigorous assessment and preparation for university. More information

AICE not only prepares students to get into a university with up to 45 hours of college credit, but it also provides them with the skills required to be successful once there. Students also have an opportunity to earn the AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) Diploma through the Cambridge advanced level courses offered at Future Global Academy.

The AICE Diploma is an award for the completion of a specific number and type of classes that are recognized at many universities throughout the US. Students who reside in Florida and earn an AICE Diploma (and complete the required number of community service hours) are eligible for the Bright Futures Scholarship, regardless of minimum college GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

Cambridge AICE Diploma Explained

The Cambridge AICE Diploma comprises individual Cambridge International AS & A Levels, recognized globally by universities and employers. It provides a broad curriculum across various subject groups, maintaining flexibility and choice for students.

Core To earn the Diploma, students must study and pass the Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research. This course emphasizes critical thinking and analysis.

Curriculum

Cambridge AICE Diploma Curriculum

The Cambridge AICE Diploma is made up of individual Cambridge International AS & A Levels, which are widely recognized by universities and employers around. Students can be confident that their qualifications will be understood and valued throughout their education and career, in their home country and internationally.

By demanding knowledge from three different subject groups, plus the core compulsory subject, Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research, the Cambridge AICE Diploma provides a broad curriculum with a balance of math’s and science, languages, arts and humanities, and interdisciplinary subjects. It maintains flexibility and choice by allowing students to choose subjects at different levels.

Core

To achieve the Diploma, all learners will need to study and pass the revised Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research (9239). This skills-based course challenges learners to think critically, analyze evidence and compare perspectives. The learning is assessed through a team project and presentation as well as a written examination.


Subjects

There are over 50 Cambridge International AS and A Level subject to choose from across four subject groups:

Group 01.

Mathematics and Sciences

Group 02.

Languages

Group 03.

Arts and Humanities

Group 04.

Interdisciplinary subjects (optional)

Learners must achieve at least one credit from each of Groups 1, 2 and 3. A maximum of two credits can count from Group 4, which is optional.

 

Unless otherwise indicated, the subjects listed below are available as full (single) credit and double (two) credit courses. This is not a definitive list of subjects. For the full list please refer to the Cambridge International AS & A Level section of the Cambridge Guide to Making Entries booklet. This guide is available to Cambridge exam officers on Cambridge International Direct or you can contact us to request a copy.

Subjects Choices span across Mathematics and Sciences, Languages, Arts and Humanities, and optional Interdisciplinary subjects, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests and career goal.

Credits

Cambridge AICE Diploma qualification

The Cambridge AICE Diploma is a group certificate which requires learners to study a compulsory core subject, Cambridge AS Level Global Perspectives & Research, with Cambridge AS & A Level subjects drawn from three curriculum areas: mathematics and science (Group 1), languages (Group 2), and arts and humanities (Group 3). There is the option to study interdisciplinary subjects (Group 4). 

We hold Cambridge International AS & A Level exam series twice a year, in June and November. Results are issued in August and January. In India only, we offer a March exam series with results issued in May.

Cambridge AICE Diploma Credits 

To achieve the Cambridge AICE Diploma, learners must achieve a minimum of seven credits (including Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research) from subject groups 1, 2, and 3 (and optionally Group 4) to be awarded the Diploma. Learners must achieve at least one credit from each of Groups 1, 2 and 3. 

The remaining credits can come from any of the groups. A Cambridge International AS Level is awarded one credit, and a Cambridge International A Level is awarded two credits. 

Learners who pass the Cambridge International A Level in Global Perspectives & Research meet the compulsory requirement of the core group and also have one credit which may then be included in Group 4 to contribute to the overall requirement of seven credits. 

Learners counting Cambridge International A Level Global Perspectives & Research towards their Diploma may also use one outcome either from English General Paper (at AS Level only) or Thinking Skills (at AS or A Level). In this case, the use of Cambridge International A Level Thinking Skills in addition to Cambridge International A Level Global Perspectives & Research is allowed, even though this will exceed the two credit limit for Group 4. This is only allowed
